Delivery of baru harvesting tools to the San Ceferino community

As a continuation of the joint work with Swisscontact, Amazon For Life carried out the delivery of Baru harvesting tools in the community of San Ceferino of Taperas.
These tools were designed to facilitate the collection of Chiquitano almonds, improve fieldwork efficiency, and reduce the physical effort of the families engaged in this activity.
During the event, representatives of Amazon For Life and community members took part in the signing of agreements and in training sessions on the proper use of the tools.
This action reinforces the shared commitment to promoting sustainable development in the region, where baru nuts production is both an economic and cultural pillar, and highlights the empowerment of women, who play a key role in the harvesting process.
